Puffing Billy - Valentines Day Brunch at the Packing Shed
February 14, 2021 –

Experience a journey for curious hearts on board Australia’s oldest preserved heritage steam railway as you travel through the natural theatre of the Dandenong Ranges in our traditional open-sided carriages to discover one of Puffing Billy’s finest hidden gems – the historic Nobelius Packing Shed.
Located in Emerald, the heritage-listed Nobelius Packing Shed was built in the early twentieth century and offers a beautifully rustic and intimate setting for visitors to enjoy a locally sourced Grazing Platter filled with a delicious selection of cured meats, fine cheeses, and Devonshire Tea for dessert. There's no better way to show your love and affection this Valentine’s day than by treating your beloved to a special brunch!
Visitors have the opportunity to explore the Nobelius Heritage Park – a four-and-a-half-hectare heritage site that was once part of the world-famous Nobelius Nursery and started in 1886 by Swedish immigrant Carl Axel Nobelius – before boarding the return train bound for Belgrave station.
The Heritage Park is also home to the Emerald Museum, displaying memorabilia, photographs and documents dating from early aboriginal occupation to the present day. For opening hours, please visit the museum's website https://www.emeraldmuseum.org.au/emerald-museum.
